Sports & Activity Weeks
Course Objectives
At each camp our fully trained, experienced staff provide structured coaching in up to twenty different activities, with a winning combination of fun and variety.
We give all children motivation and encouragement throughout their activities.
We have full wet and dry weather programmes so the fun is never interrupted! With our 23 years of experience we have designed a programme offering the perfect mix of sports and other activities, providing opportunities for children of all abilities and interests.
For all activities children are instructed in groups according to their age. This helps to generate a warm, happy atmosphere where they can make new friends and enjoy individual teaching instruction.
Each day the children participate in five or six different activities. A timetable is set up for each group by the organiser of the venue, ensuring variety and that the activities are well suited to that particular age group.
Our day runs from 10am-4pm unless you specifically ask for our extended hours.

Younger Children
(4 and 5 year olds)
We are aware that younger children sometimes find it too tiring to play sport all day, so at Sports Galore each day the 4 and 5 year olds have activities such as art, story time, party games, magician and weather permitting, the paddling pool.
In addition to this, each group has an assistant teacher who can give extra help with the children and can look after those who need to ‘sit-out’ the occasional activity. These events coupled with an introduction to a whole range of sports give the children a well-balanced timetable that they can cope with.
A Typical Day
Children arrive at 10am for registration. Children will be introduced to their group and then be given a tour of the site. They will then spend the day doing five or six activities. During the day we have plenty of refreshments available. Each day will run slightly differently from the day before but will each be fun-filled and action packed.
